David Kim: "The codebase visibility thing. We asked for it in November. It's still not there. My engineers spend the first three hours of every sprint just reading git logs trying to understand what changed. That's not a feature request anymore — it's a productivity tax."
Rachel Osei: "And it's not just us. I was talking to someone at Workday last week and they said the same thing."
David Kim: "The other thing — and this is becoming urgent — is the AI code question. Our compliance team is asking what percentage of our codebase was written by AI tools. I don't have an answer. If we can't answer that before our next board audit, that's a problem."

James Okafor: "Quick one from me — our security team flagged that some of our engineers are using Copilot and the suggestions are getting merged without any review gate. We have no visibility into how much of our codebase is AI-generated at this point."
Olu: "Is this a compliance requirement or more of a quality concern?"
James Okafor: "Both. Compliance is asking for it before our SOC 2 renewal. But honestly the quality angle worries me more — we've had two incidents in the last quarter that traced back to AI-generated code that nobody actually read."

Priya Mehta: "Our investors are doing technical due diligence before the round closes. They want a codebase health report — technical debt, AI code exposure, dependency risk. We need something we can hand them in the next 30 days."
Olu: "What format are they expecting?"
Priya Mehta: "Doesn't matter as long as it's credible. They've seen Sema reports before — one of the other portfolio companies used you. That's actually why I'm on this call."
